The Blair Road Community Garden Association (BRCGA) is a federally registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
All contributions to the BRCGA may be tax-deductible (depending on your tax situation). We will use all contributions to benefit the garden, and our annual purchases usually include tools, mowing services, and supplies to repair our irrigation system.
Nonprofit status also allows BRCGA to apply for grants so that we may tackle larger projects like improving our irrigation system and solar power for electric tools.
As a nonprofit, BRCGA is also now permitted to provide community service hours to public school youth with community service requirements. If you are looking for community service hours during the summertime, you can help weed gardens, fix pipes, and assist elderly gardeners who are having difficulty.
