Join Us for the Annual Garden Picnic and Potluck

Let the Board thank you for another successful gardening season.
The association will provide the main course. Please bring a side dish or dessert from your garden harvest to share with the community!
Seating is limited – bring your lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and family members!
Each plot will get two meal tickets, and more will be available for a donation to the garden association but NO CASH will be accepted (debit/credit card or check/money order only).

Don’t miss our Last Garden Work Day – this Saturday, September 10, 2022 – 10 am until Noon
We have a lot of projects and could use the help.
All plots are responsible for 3 hours of community work in order to be invited back to the garden next year. Keep your plot by putting in your hours!
SAVE THE DATE: Saturday, November 12, 2022 – Our Annual Fall Meeting and Elections. More details to come, but reach out if you’re interested in joining the board or chairing a committee.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS
ABSENTEE GARDENING – Remember that our association rules state that your plot can only be worked by the person who is the registered member/plot holder. If the plot holder cannot tend their garden due to travel or illness, you must contact the Board of Directors immediately to work out a suitable arrangement. Violations can result in termination of your garden membership and/or non-renewal of your annual permit.
PERSONAL SAFETY – Our garden is on public land in an urban area. IF YOU FEEL THREATENED by anyone (fellow gardener or stranger) please call 911, and get yourself to safety if possible. Once you are in a safe place, report the incident to the Board, but DO NOT CONFRONT anyone you feel is threatening. Also, the garden is closed after dark. As the days get shorter, please make sure you leave before it gets dark
