At the well-attended Spring membership meeting, we heard an update from DDOT about the Metropolitan Branch Trail construction going on this summer. Go to: the DDOT website for more details. DDOT is hopeful that the construction adjacent to the Garden will be completed this summer. However, weather problems could delay completion.

Other updates from the meeting included reminders:
- You are required to take your trash home for disposal;
- You are required to clear of weeds the Southern and Eastern Pathways surrounding your plot – all the way from your plot to your neighbor’s plot;
- You MUST NOT USE chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or rodenticides. Use of such non-organic products are grounds for immediate eviction from the garden.
